Lost Souls | Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep | Scene 4

Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep is a whimsical standalone adventure set within the Borderlands universe, where players navigate a tabletop RPG directed by the chaotic Tiny Tina. Amidst its fantasy-themed combat, the mission "Lost Souls" serves as a brilliant homage to the Dark Souls series. Located in the atmospheric Immortal Woods, players encounter the Crestfallen Player, a skeletal NPC frustrated by repeated deaths. The mission tasks players with lighting three bonfires—a direct nod to Dark Souls mechanics—while battling waves of skeletons. By gathering souls dropped by these foes, players restore the NPC’s humanity. The quest concludes with an invasion by a hostile character named -=n00bkiller=-, mimicking the series' signature player-versus-player invasions. This quest perfectly captures the spirit of challenging, atmospheric gaming, blending Borderlands’ signature humor with a clever, heartfelt tribute to a notoriously difficult genre, making it an unforgettable highlight of the adventure.
