Tree Hugger | Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep | Scene 4

Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep is a whimsical standalone adventure set within the Borderlands universe, framing the gameplay as a chaotic tabletop RPG hosted by Tiny Tina. Among its many quests, "Tree Hugger" stands out as a satirical gem. Players meet Aubrey the Teenage Treant in The Forest, a character blending mythical tree-creature status with an hilariously apathetic teenage persona. The mission tasks players with escorting a sapling to a lumber camp, where it must be defended against waves of orcs. Once it matures into the powerful Mosstache, the treant goes on a destructive rampage, smashing huts to exact revenge. By subverting the derogatory label of "tree hugger," the quest perfectly encapsulates the expansion’s clever humor and creative flair. It remains a memorable, action-packed highlight that showcases the series' ability to balance intense combat with eccentric, genre-bending storytelling.
