Ell in Shining Armor | Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep | Scene 1

Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep is a whimsical, standalone expansion set within the Borderlands universe. Framed as a tabletop RPG called "Bunkers and Badasses" led by Tiny Tina, it blends traditional first-person shooter mechanics with chaotic, fantasy-themed storytelling. The side mission "Ell in Shining Armor" perfectly captures this playful spirit. When Ellie decides she needs an armor upgrade, the player ventures to Old Glenn the Blacksmith’s Cottage to find suitable gear. The quest humorously subverts fantasy tropes, forcing the player to choose between a practical, bulky set of armor and a ridiculous metal bikini. This choice serves as a witty critique of unrealistic character designs in gaming. By navigating through forest treants and completing these lighthearted objectives, players experience the unique, meta-humor that defines the expansion, proving that even the smallest side quests contribute to the game's enduring charm and imaginative depth.
