Episode 22 - Up a Creek | Kingdom Chronicles | Walkthrough, Gameplay, No Commentary, Android
Kingdom Chronicles
Description
Kingdom Chronicles is a captivating time-management and resource-allocation strategy game developed by Aliasworlds. Players follow the journey of John Brave, a hero returning from the sea to find his homeland devastated by the tyrant Moomrabac. To restore the kingdom, players must manage workers, clerks, and warriors while balancing resource gathering, construction, and combat across forty challenging, story-driven episodes.
Episode 22, titled "Up a Creek," serves as a demanding test of this strategic core. In this level, John Brave seeks a vital Magic Crystal, but the path is obstructed by eleven washed-out bridges. To succeed, players must rebuild these bridges, destroy four enemy structures, and construct and upgrade two cottages to level three. The episode is uniquely difficult because it lacks a stone quarry, forcing players to abandon traditional gathering in favor of a sophisticated trade-based economy.
Victory depends on securing the female trader, the level’s only source of stone, who demands six gold for eight units of stone. Consequently, the player must prioritize building a town hall and cottages early to maximize rent collection. Gold becomes the most precious commodity, which must then be efficiently cycled into stone. Simultaneously, players must maintain a supply of food and wood to clear debris and support the barracks, where warriors are trained to dismantle enemy fortifications.
Success in "Up a Creek" requires mastery of the game’s magical skills. Using the Work skill accelerates building and repairs, while the Produce skill boosts resource output. The Run skill is indispensable for minimizing the travel time of clerks collecting rent and workers clearing paths, and the Fight skill allows warriors to destroy enemy obstacles with significantly increased speed. By weaving together high-speed trading, constant resource management, and tactical combat, players can overcome the absence of local stone production. Ultimately, completing Episode 22 is a rewarding exercise in logistics and multitasking, bringing John Brave one step closer to liberating his kingdom and securing the Magic Crystal needed to push back Moomrabac’s oppressive rule.
