This involves battling through Flynt’s gang in the Southern Shelf. The mission kicks off with a tough boss fight against Boom and Bewm, two grenade-spewing brothers. Boom uses a big cannon called Big Bertha, while Bewm flies around with a jetpack. They can be tricky early on, especially if you don’t have good corrosive weapons, so using cover and focusing on one at a time is key. After you beat them, you get to use Big Bertha yourself to blast through a gate, which is pretty satisfying. Then, you head to Captain Flynt’s stronghold. You’ll have to fight more bandits and use a crane to help Claptrap get past some stairs. Throughout this, Flynt taunts you, showing his cruel side. The main event is fighting Captain Flynt on his freighter. He uses a flamethrower and an anchor, and the arena has floor hazards that make him stronger. He’s resistant to fire, so keep your distance and aim for his face when you can. Defeating him gets you experience, money, and his unique pistol, Flynt's Tinderbox. This mission is a great introduction to boss fights and sets you up for the journey to Sanctuary, marking you as a true hero on Pandora.
