Rayman Legends is a truly splendid 2D platformer, brimming with color and imaginative design. Plus, playing with friends, whether on the couch or online, just cranks the fun up to eleven. Now, amongst all these amazing worlds, there’s a level called "Shooting Me Softly," and it’s a real gem, even if it harks back to the previous game, *Rayman Origins*. You’ll find it tucked away in the "Back to Origins" paintings, giving you a fantastic remaster of a classic. This isn’t your typical run-and-jump affair. Instead, you’re suddenly up in the air, riding on the back of a trusty mosquito, and the whole game shifts into a side-scrolling shooter. It’s a delightful change of pace! You’re zipping through the air, blasting away at all sorts of quirky enemies, from helmeted birds to swarms of tiny critters. You’ve got to be nimble, dodging environmental hazards, and even using your shots to bounce off drums to hit switches that clear your path. There’s a bit where you have to shoot big gongs to create safe zones from flying enemies, which is super cool. The level artfully transitions from arid deserts to chilly, icy landscapes, throwing in new challenges like dodging bombs and navigating tight spots. It all culminates in a frantic finale where the screen starts closing in, demanding all your quick reflexes. Even though it’s not one of the famous musical levels *Legends* is known for, the music in "Shooting Me Softly" is still a fantastic companion to the action, a dynamic score that perfectly matches the adventure and urgency. It's a wonderfully crafted level that adds a thrilling, action-packed variety to the already stellar *Rayman Legends*.
