Borderlands 3 is an action role-playing first-person shooter set in a vibrant, chaotic universe filled with unique characters and enemies. The game follows the quest for the fabled Vault Map, which has resurfaced, setting off a race among various factions to seize its power. One of the pivotal story missions, "From the Ground Up," takes place in Covenant Pass and is initiated by Lilith, a key character in the narrative. In this mission, players are tasked with a series of objectives that begin with equipping a grenade mod and conversing with Lilith. The initial steps involve securing a propaganda center, following Lilith’s guidance, and observing critical information on a monitor. The mission escalates as players need to locate and confront the Sun Smasher chief, which involves combat against various skags and ultimately, the bandit warchief Vaughn. Players must then escort Vaughn back to Lilith, culminating in the mission's completion. "From the Ground Up" is essential for advancing the storyline, setting the stage for subsequent missions like "Cult Following." It rewards players with experience points, in-game currency, and a blue rarity skin, enhancing their gameplay experience. This mission exemplifies the blend of humor, action, and cooperative gameplay that Borderlands 3 is known for, engaging players in the chaotic thrill of the hunt for the Vault Map while deepening their connection to the characters and the overarching plot.
