Plants vs. Zombies 2
Kuvaus
Plants vs. Zombies 2 on its own is a delightful and engaging tower defense game that builds upon the foundation of its beloved predecessor. The game invites players on a whimsical time-traveling adventure with Crazy Dave and his time machine, Penny, as they journey through various historical eras to retrieve a misplaced taco. At its core, the gameplay involves strategically placing a diverse array of plants, each with unique abilities, on a grid to fend off waves of quirky zombies. The currency of the game is sun, collected from sunflowers or the sky, which is used to deploy these botanical defenders. A key new addition in the sequel is Plant Food, a temporary power-up that amplifies a plant's abilities, adding an exciting layer of tactical depth.
Big Wave Beach, one of the game's vibrant worlds, introduces a unique aquatic challenge. Day 19 within this world, however, is particularly special, presenting itself as a "Special Delivery" level. This means players don't choose their plants beforehand; instead, the conveyor belt provides a constant stream of specific plants, forcing an adaptive and reactive strategy. The core challenge of Day 19 lies in the unique mechanics of Big Wave Beach, such as the shifting tides that can alter the planting area, and the specialized aquatic zombies that inhabit it. Players must be quick to react and place their plants wisely to counter the relentless onslaught.
The enemies encountered are indeed formidable. The Surfer Zombie rides in on his board, instantly destroying the first plant in his path. Snorkel Zombies remain hidden underwater, impervious to most attacks until they reach their target. The most frustrating, however, is the Fisherman Zombie, who lurks at the back, using his rod to snatch and destroy plants from a distance. To combat these threats, the conveyor belt offers a curated selection: the essential Lily Pad for planting on water, the versatile Guacodile for offense, the homing projectiles of the Homing Thistle to target any zombie, the defensive power of the Infi-nut to create barriers, and the instant-kill Tangle Kelp for aquatic foes. Success on Day 19 hinges on precise placement, using the Infi-nut's plant food to counter the Fisherman Zombie, and strategically employing Tangle Kelps to eliminate immediate threats. It's a level that demands constant vigilance and a keen understanding of each plant's potential to overcome the water-logged undead.
